Who is Alexandre Cavaliere?

Alexandre Cavaliere, a talented violinist born in 1985 near Mons in Belgium, was destined for a life in music. Born into a family of musicians, Alexandre grew up surrounded by musical instruments and was introduced to the violin at a young age. His passion for music was nurtured by his family and he quickly developed a love for the violin.

At the age of 12, Alexandre had his first public performance as a soloist and received high praise for his skill and talent. His natural ability and dedication to the violin continued to impress those around him and he was quickly recognized as a rising star in the world of classical music.

In March 1998, fate helped Alexandre along his musical journey, placing him in the path of two great musicians, Didier Lockwood and Babik Reinhardt. The two musicians were in Brussels for the Django d’Or celebration while Alexandre was rehearsing for an evening at the Royal Hotel Windsor with his father, who directed the band Jazzy Strings. The meeting was a turning point for Alexandre, as he was able to play with the musicians and receive valuable advice and encouragement from them.

From that point on, Alexandre’s career took off. He began to perform regularly as a soloist and in various ensembles throughout Belgium and beyond. His performances were lauded for their passion, energy, and technical skill, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young violinists in Europe.

In addition to his live performances, Alexandre has also recorded several albums, including “Bach & Friends”, “Gypsy Swing”, and “Virtuoso Violin”. These albums showcase his versatility and skill as a musician, featuring a range of classical and contemporary pieces.

Alexandre’s discography includes collaborations with other talented musicians such as guitarist Stochelo Rosenberg and pianist Jef Neve. He has also performed with the Brussels Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Belgium, and the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia.
