Who is Frederic Belinsky?

Frederic Belinsky is a French-Russian musician born on August 25th, 1974, who has made a significant impact in the world of music through his incredible talent and passion for playing the guitar. Belinsky started his musical journey at the age of 9, when he began studying guitar at the Russian Conservatory of Paris.
His love for the guitar grew over time, and he continued his studies at the Conservatory of Boulogne before finally graduating with a silver prize in 1997 from the National Conservatory of Paris. During his 15 years of classical guitar training, he showed a natural aptitude for the instrument, demonstrating his skill and technique in numerous performances and concerts.

Despite his extensive training in classical guitar, Belinsky has not limited himself to this style of music. He has explored other genres and styles, including jazz, where he has found inspiration from some of the greatest jazz musicians such as Django Reinhardt, Barney Kessel, Wes Montgomery, and Tal Farlow. Belinsky’s ability to transition seamlessly between classical and jazz guitar has made him a versatile musician with a unique style that sets him apart from his peers.

Belinsky’s passion for music and his dedication to his craft has led to several notable achievements in his career. He has performed in many prestigious venues and events, including the Jazz Festival of Paris, the International Guitar Festival of Vendôme, and the Festival of Baroque Music in Paris. Additionally, he has collaborated with several renowned artists and musicians from around the world, including American pianist and composer, Dan Tepfer, and French jazz saxophonist, Stephane Belmondo.
