Stéphane Wrembel

Stéphane Wrembel is a French jazz guitarist and composer whose innovative style has garnered international acclaim. Born in Fontainebleau, France, in 1974, Wrembel exhibited a passion for music from a young age and began his musical journey studying classical piano at just four years old.

During his teenage years, Wrembel’s fascination with jazz blossomed, leading him to enroll at the American School of Modern Music in Paris. It was here that he first encountered the music of Django Reinhardt, a legendary French guitarist renowned for his contributions to European jazz. In 2002, Wrembel attended the Django Reinhardt Festival in Samois, France, which proved to be a pivotal moment in his career. Notably, Wrembel achieved significant recognition for his involvement in the soundtrack of Woody Allen’s 2011 film “Midnight in Paris.” His original composition, “Bistro Fada,” played a prominent role in the film and garnered him a Grammy nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
